The Hindu god ‘Ganesha’ is worshipped first among all others during any Puja ritual. His place comes first before all other gods and goddesses. He is seen as the lord of success and remover of all obstacles.
As the Puja celebrations this year are still on I found many greetings on social media. I thought to share the same with others.
Here is a collection …
I wish all very happy Puja holidays!
Thinking on this topic!
Original idea and inspiration I got at:
In India we celebrate the birthday of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as Teachers’ day every year. It’s a coincidence this year we celebrate ‘Vinayaka Chaturthi’ too today across India. Lord Vinayaka/Ganapati is the god of Buddhi (wisdom), Riddhi(prosperity) and Siddhi(attainment) according to Indian mythology.
On this Teacher’s day, a very nice thought came to my mind. Who is our first teacher? I think it’s our mother.
It feels very satisfying when a mother says I will learn again with my kid as I forgot few basics. What does it mean? I think it’s a very positive approach towards life. I came to learn this during an interaction earlier. It can reignite the passion in you and motivate your kid as well. This is an win-win situation for all in society when both can act as teacher and student for one another.
Do you have a second opinion?
You think and I am thinking about it to write more.
Let me share here few quotations in memory of our teachers.
Finally, something from my very own thoughts …
“Our mother is our best teacher as long as we visualize, respect and learn from her as our teacher”
Happy Teachers’ Day to all !
