THINK GLOBAL START LOCAL

In the days of Covid-19 when there is no respite and we have to live with it for a greater period of time, I’m seeking ideas for a brighter future of all living species on earth.

I am thinking on how we can contribute to stay safe, live better, become more self reliant, using local products for daily needs, less dependency on foreign goods and to boost our economy.

Many among us might have similar thoughts. Thoughts like what we can do staying home where we are when there is no scope of a new job opportunity. How to become an earning member in the family.

Looking forward to learn from your ideas.

  1. First, limit meat eating. Second – Don’t fly this way and that around the world, explore your country, even on a bike, if you’re healthy. Third – Use public transport and drive rarely to work by car .. Fourth do not use so much plastic and try to buy domestic goods … And much more. Let’s try restrictions, let’s try

      1. There is no other way for everyone to start improving in their backyard. Start from myself. I’m glad you’re here, I’ll read you if you can write that.

  2. Not everyone can work from home as those identified as essential workers have demonstrated. They include farmers, warehouse workers, delivery personnel, meat plant workers, EMTs and other healthcare providers.

If the pandemic has taught us nothing else we should at least localize the production of critical equipment such as PPE and respirators; decentralize meat processing so that a health crisis at a single plant does not cripple the nation; and ensure that the food chain is equipped to deliver supplies to food banks on which many people rely.
