GITA WISDOM # 44
अभिसन्धाय तु फलं दम्भार्थमपि चैव यत्।
इज्यते भरतश्रेष्ठ तं यज्ञं विद्धि राजसम्॥
The arrogant and greedy folks perform rituals to impress others and to get earthly benefits. (17.12)
परन्तु हे अर्जुन! केवल दम्भाचरण के लिए अथवा फल को भी दृष्टि में रखकर जो यज्ञ किया जाता है, उस यज्ञ को तू राजस जान ॥12॥
