OUR LABOUR CLASS PLAYS THE MOST SIGNIFICANT ROLL FOR OUR SOCIETY

RESOLTION OF 1889

A resolution was passed in 1889 by the Marxist International Socialist Congress in which it was decided that the workers should not be made to work for more than eight hours a day. Thereafter, it became an annual feature to celebrate 1^stMay as the Labour Day.

In essence, in order that the labour class works conscientiously and to their full potential, it is most significant that their rights are protected to a maximum extent through:
