There once was a land of injustice. People had to obey religious rules even if it didn’t make any sense. They were not able to talk nor complain if they did they would be punished.
They were put in prison, whipped in public and tortured. The land of injustice was full of unhappy people.
A wise man was passing by the Injustice land and saw a young man getting whipped over and over again.
People of the town were forced to gather to watch and learn the lesson of how disobeying was painful and not worth trying.
The wise man went closer and asked the religious judge who sentenced the order: “May I ask what this young man did?”
The judge said: “He drank wine. Drinking wine is forbidden and whoever drinks wine will burn in hell and be punished on earth.”

GITA WISDOM #27
ज्ञानं ज्ञेयं परिज्ञाता त्रिविधा कर्मचोदना।
करणं कर्म कर्तेति त्रिविधः कर्मसङ्ग्रहः॥
Actions are driven by the tripod of knower-knowledge-known. It is done by the doer with his intellectual, mental and physical resources. (18.18)
ज्ञाता (जानने वाले का नाम ‘ज्ञाता’ है।), ज्ञान (जिसके द्वारा जाना जाए, उसका नाम ‘ज्ञान’ है। ) और ज्ञेय (जानने में आने वाली वस्तु का नाम ‘ज्ञेय’ है।)- ये तीनों प्रकार की कर्म-प्रेरणा हैं और कर्ता (कर्म करने वाले का नाम ‘कर्ता’ है।), करण (जिन साधनों से कर्म किया जाए, उनका नाम ‘करण’ है।) तथा क्रिया (करने का नाम ‘क्रिया’ है।)- ये तीनों प्रकार का कर्म-संग्रह है

अधिष्ठानं तथा कर्ता करणं च पृथग्विधम्।
विविधाश्च पृथक्चेष्टा दैवं चैवात्र पञ्चमम्॥
Success of all endeavours depends upon five aspects – the physical structure, the doer, the individual organs, the various actions and finally the (divine) metaphysical forces. (18.14)
इस विषय में अर्थात कर्मों की सिद्धि में अधिष्ठान (जिसके आश्रय कर्म किए जाएँ, उसका नाम अधिष्ठान है) और कर्ता तथा भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकार के करण (जिन-जिन इंद्रियादिकों और साधनों द्वारा कर्म किए जाते हैं, उनका नाम करण है) एवं नाना प्रकार की अलग-अलग चेष्टाएँ और वैसे ही पाँचवाँ हेतु दैव (पूर्वकृत शुभाशुभ कर्मों के संस्कारों का नाम दैव है) है

KARVA CHAUTH
Karwa Chauth is a festival celebrated by Hindu women from the Indian Subcontinent on the fourth day after purnima (a full moon) in the month of Kartika. Like many Hindu festivals, Karwa Chauth is based on the lunisolar calendar which accounts for all astronomical positions, especially positions of the moon which is used as a marker to calculate important dates. The festival falls on the fourth day after the full moon, in the Hindu lunisolar calendar month of Kartik.
On Karwa Chauth, married women, especially in North India, observe fast from sunrise to moonrise for the safety and longevity of their husbands. The Karwa Chauth fast is traditionally celebrated in the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh. It is celebrated as Atla Tadde in Andhra Pradesh.

है वो जन्नत पर
उस जन्नत से उसका कोई वास्ता नहीं
यहां बैठे हैं कई राक्षस,
जिनका देवताओं जैसा कोई मुखौटा नहीं
जिंदादिली और ताकत का मिश्रण
जिया है मैंने इन आंखों से
साज-सज्जा में कोई कमी नहीं की
ईश्वर ने संजोया-तराशा है अपने हाथों से ।
ये मूर्ख इतना भी नहीं समझते
इसको बाँट-बाँट, खुद को बाँट रहे हैं
और सारा दोष असीम शाँत घाटियों पर
मढ़ने से बाज नहीं आते…

ऊर्ध्वं गच्छन्ति सत्त्वस्था मध्ये तिष्ठन्ति राजसाः।
जघन्यगुणवृत्तिस्था अधो गच्छन्ति तामसाः॥
The virtuous ones ascend great heights; the greedy stay put where they are; while the inactive go down to the gutters. Action without fruit-orientation leads to glory. (14.18)
सत्त्वगुण में स्थित पुरुष स्वर्गादि उच्च लोकों को जाते हैं, रजोगुण में स्थित राजस पुरुष मध्य में अर्थात मनुष्य लोक में ही रहते हैं और तमोगुण के कार्यरूप निद्रा, प्रमाद और आलस्यादि में स्थित तामस पुरुष अधोगति को अर्थात कीट, पशु आदि नीच योनियों को तथा नरकों को प्राप्त होते हैं

सदृशं चेष्टते स्वस्याः प्रकृतेर्ज्ञानवानपि।
प्रकृतिं यान्ति भूतानि निग्रहः किं करिष्यति॥
In any organization, employees possess distinct individual traits and discharge their duties accordingly. Management shall recognise them and shall not impose compulsory changes. (3.33)
सभी प्राणी प्रकृति को प्राप्त होते हैं अर्थात अपने स्वभाव के परवश हुए कर्म करते हैं। ज्ञानवान् भी अपनी प्रकृति के अनुसार चेष्टा करता है। फिर इसमें किसी का हठ क्या करेगा
