Sally was an energetic smart girl. She used to do very well in school with the best behavior.
But in her last year of high school, which was very important for her future she wasn’t doing well according to her teacher Mrs. Lambert.
Mrs. Lambert warned Sally several times to change her way of talking to others and staying focused and many other issues that Sally had and was causing a huge problem, not to mention ruining her crucial year of getting to university and building a future for herself.
It seemed like Sally is not going to do any changes in her actions, and that made the concerned Mrs. Lambert ask Sally’s mother to come to school.
Mrs. Lambert was straight with Sally’s mother and asked her to take Sally to a psychiatrist and tell the doctor that Sally has a behavior disorder.

The event was established by the Governing Council of the United Nations Development Programme in 1989. It was inspired by the public interest in Five Billion Day on July 11, 1987, the approximate date on which the world’s population reached five billion people.
World Population Day aims to increase people’s awareness on various population issues such as the importance of family planning, gender equality, poverty, maternal health and human rights.
