In a work week, it is not always guaranteed that you will find your boss or team leader at work. They may be busy attending meetings or events or doing their tasks overseas or at
home.
When this happens, what should you do? Do you use the time to take a break? Should you continue with your projects even if they are not around?
Studies have shown that teams will need a leader to stay productive and orderly because when they are not around, here are the things that happen:
– Disorganised Team
One of the most notable things when your team leader isn’t around is the team’s disorganisation. Team members are uninterested in speaking to one another, and it is harder for tasks to be done. With leaders present, they ensure that everyone is on hand with their tasks and be the middleman to speak to each member if…
In 2012, the General Assembly proclaimed June 1 as the Global Day of Parents, to be observed annually in honour of parents throughout the world. This was done to appreciate all parents for their “selfless commitment to children and their lifelong sacrifice towards nurturing this relationship.”
2023 Theme: The power of parenting: raising happy, healthy and hopeful children.

“To understand your parents’ love, you must raise children yourself.” –Chinese Proverb

“My father didn’t tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it.” –Clarence Budinton Kelland

In 2001, World Milk Day was established by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations to recognize the importance of milk as a global food, and to celebrate the dairy sector. Each year since, the benefits of milk and dairy products have been actively promoted around the world, including how dairy supports the livelihoods of one billion people.
On world no tobacco day let’s take a pledge : “we will not use any tobacco product ourselves and will generate awareness among others in our community”
It’s quite a sensitive issue when children are exposed to such products in their school days. They follow elders and we can’t blame if we a find a teenager smoking. I have seen small to big signboards and banners at many places with a clear message in block letters. But who cares these ‘no smoking’ warnings. One such board is there in my compound I stay currently. Our colony has several families with school going children. It’s quite harsh to see elders not caring much for the need of others. I don’t know if they don’t understand the need or do not want to understand.
Few public places are no different including our railway compartments. I am sorry to reveal this truth but…
Brother’s Day was created in 2001 by C. Daniel Rhodes of Hoover, Alabama to celebrate the family – specifically, brothers. Celebrated on the 24th of May, it’s a great day to let your brother know how much he means to you.
The bond between brothers is so strong and such a significant part of many people’s lives that it has inspired hundreds of books, films, paintings, poetry, and plays.
It is usually conceived experiential learning as something we learn from our own experience by doing. I feel we can correlate our experiences with others and have relatable learning from experience of others as well. Here’s an example.

The heart of a gardener opens to the call of the earth. Every Spring and through the cycles of time the call is there to plant, sow, water and create an expanse of color, texture, light and shadow.
The heart of a gardener is a creator and artist, displaying and weaving patterns, while tending with the love of Mother Nature.
It is an annual observance day declared by the united nations. International Tea Day is observed annually on May 21 to recognise the long history and cultural and economic significance of tea around the world, as well as the significant role it plays in rural development, poverty reduction and food security in developing countries.
The story of tea begins in China. According to legend, in 2737 BC, the Chinese emperor Shen Nung was sitting beneath a tree while his servant boiled drinking water, when some leaves from the tree blew into the water. Shen Nung, a renowned herbalist, decided to try the infusion that his servant had accidentally created.
