FINDING STRENGTH IN SOLITUDE

GS's avatarBe Inspired..!!

In today’s interconnected world, where constant communication and social interaction have become the norm, experiencing isolation can be unsettling.

However, it is important to recognize that feeling isolated is not necessarily a negative experience; it can be an opportunity for introspection, growth, and even enhancing our capacity for empathy. Understanding our shared isolation can foster a deeper sense of connection and shared vulnerability. In this post, we will delve into the significance of embracing our isolation and how it can ultimately help us forge stronger connections with one another.

Exploring Isolation:

Isolation manifests itself in various ways, whether self-imposed or due to circumstances beyond our control. However, regardless of the parameters that define our solitude, we are bound by a collective understanding and experience. By recognizing that this sense of isolation is shared, we can unlock a whole new dimension of compassion and support for one another.

LEARNING BIRDS # 19

Indian Robin

Spotted at: Narayanagiri hills, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

The Indian robin (Copsychus fulicatus) is a species of passarine bird in the family Muscicapidae. It is widespread in the Indian subcontinent and ranges across Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The males of the northern subspecies have brown backs whose extent gradually reduces southwards, with the males of the southern subspecies having all-black backs. They are commonly found in open scrub areas and often seen running along the ground or perching on low thorny shrubs and rocks. The long tail is usually held up and the chestnut undertail coverts and dark body make them easily distinguishable from pied bushchats and Oriental magpie-robins.

INDEPENDENCE

Loud stars explode into the sky,
independent fourth of July.
Watch parts of her silently die,
hope all her wishes learn to fly.

A bright lit golden yellow path
glows in sunlight to form contrast.
Immersive thoughts form healing bath,
glistening tears dissolve so fast.

All that she knew is gone so quick,
maybe this life is just a trick.
This train of thought makes her heart sick,
a sip of light could help faith stick.

Release pure love, free this July,
know future days will hold fair rights.
Let peaceful flows erase all fights,
as warm shine fill hearts up at night.

Next year will bring her time to heal,
no longer doubting how she feels.
Her flesh and bones are made of steel,
an inner strength no one could steal.

No one to tell her what to choose,
her own decisions win or lose.
Confident thoughts never subdue,
instead all dreams will be pursued.

GURU PURNIMA

Debasis Nayak's avatarB +Ve!!

Guru Purnima (Poornima) is a tradition dedicated to all the spiritual and academic Gurus, who are evolved or enlightened humans, ready to share their wisdom, based on Karma Yoga. It is celebrated as a festival in India, Nepal and Bhutan by Hindus, Jain and Buddhists. This festival is traditionally observed to honour one’s chosen spiritual teachers or leaders.

It is observed on the Full Moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July) as it is known in the Hindu Calendar. The festival was revived by Mahatma Gandhi to pay tribute to his spiritual guru, Shrimad Rajchandra. It is also known as Vyasa Purnima, for it marks the birthday of Veda Vyasa, the sage who authored the Mahabharata and compiled the Vedas.

Happy Guru Purnima! 💐🙏

Sometimes I sit outside

Pontificating life and love

Watching birds play🦩games

Waiting for the sun to gently set

To greet the night sky with a smile

Mysterious🌙with her friends shining

Brightly flickering from centuries before

Light swallows darkness, burns away

Nothingness to become something✨

Right before my very eyes I am..

Taken aback by the vastness

We kill a lot by Titus Vargis

We are a postmodern generation. We have all the comforts which the previous generation did not have.

Everything is available for us at the time we want it.

The downside of this abundance is our lack of thinking about others. We seldom think about giving, but getting.

It’s difficult for us to understand that giving is the only way for getting things in life. That is being unselfish.

Let me share some important applications which will bring drastic transformation in our relationships. These are the unwritten rules of relationships.

  1. . Let’s get it right. This is the number one golden rule to live by. No amount of education, money or power can substitute this.
  2. . Respect is not demanded. We must learn to give respect to our partner no matter what.

National Doctors’ Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities. The date varies from nation to nation depending on the event of commemoration used to mark the day. In some nations the day is marked as a holiday. Although supposed to be celebrated by patients in and benefactors of the healthcare industry, it is usually celebrated by health care organizations. Staff may organize a lunch for doctors to present the physicians with tokens of recognition. Historically, a card or red carnation may be sent to physicians and their spouses, along with a flower being placed on the graves of deceased physicians.

In India, the National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on July 1 all across India which honours our dedicated and caring physicians, dentists, and other medical professionals celebrated in memory of the legendary physician and the second…
