September 15 is celebrated as Engineers Day in India. The day is celebrated by the Engineering Community all over India as a tribute to India’s greatest engineer Bharat Ratna Visvesvaraya, who was born on September 15, 1860.

This year the theme of Engineers day is “Engineering Challenges for Knowledge Era”.

  3. It could be an interesting blog if you were to endeavor to tell more about the engineer in the picture, or anything interesting about India. The assumption that you are qualified to tell us to be positive is close to discussing your blood group. There are hundreds of blogs saying the same, almost word for, How to…., things.

    If you were to take time to look at the posts in my blog, you will learn many unknown facts about so many places in the world, in the history of mankind, and more.

    • I’d like to go in finer details there later. All of the scientists there and their discoveries I was aware of right from my school days. It’s good to go back and read again at some other place like yours which reminds me of those days.

  7. My husband has degrees in chemical engineering, environmental engineering, and civil engineering. I had no idea September 15 was “his” day! Thanks for a good post. 🙂
