In India, the National Postal Day is celebrated annually on 10th of October as an extension of World Post Day, which is celebrated on 9th October.
The Day aims to commemorate the role played by the Indian postal department since past 166 years, which was founded in 1854 by Lord Dalhousie.

World Mental Health Day is observed on 10th of October every year. The goal of this day is to raise awareness on mental health issues around the world. The Indian Air Force celebrates it’s holiday on 8th October. Air force bases in India hold parades and air shows to mark the holiday. The Air Warrior Drill Team often performs on this day.
